Smart cars: how technology is putting the brakes on insurance premiums
Here’s a dilemma… I love driving and find it hard to imagine a computer hitting the brakes for me if it senses a near collision; yet what if my insurance was reduced by 30% if my car had an automatic crash-avoidance system? I feel like my words are that of an old person that is keeping tech at arms length. It’s just hard to fathom losing full control when I’m in the drivers seat.
